FORM IS EMPTY
AND EMPTY IS FORM

What is the form?

The form is what IS before you apply your concepts, judgements and emotions on it.

It is the original state of « what IS » - coloured, sharp impressive, dramatic, aesthetic qualities, which exist in any situation.

                                               The form is empty

The values attached to the form are only created later in your mind.
If you look at things the way they really are, they are only forms.
Thus the form is empty, but empty of what?

Of your preconceived ideas, your judgements, your oppositions (attraction or rejection)
If one takes for example the beauty of the Himalayas or the repulsive smell of

garbage, these two forms are empty of preconceived ideas; they are
precisely what they
 are!

The Himalayas is the Himalayas, the garbage is garbage;« What is » is «What is ».
The Form is empty if you see it without your own personal interpretations.

But the empty is also form!

Perhaps you believe that everything is clarified now, that everything is “as such” that it is enough for you to get rid of your preconceived ideas?

Very pleasant! All the good and bad that you see, is good!

Alas! The empty is also form.

Trying to see the things as empty is also a concept, a label.
It is necessary to begin again; the empty of the Himalayas or the heap of garbage is also form.

                                      The form returns!

It was too easy to give up any concept, to conclude it simply is what it is.

This was another way of escaping, to control yourself!

Agreeing not to judge, not to stick labels on the form is not enough!

It is truly necessary TO FEEL things the way they are; the inherent quality should be seen
in the heap of garbage, the inherent quality in the beauty of the HIMALAYAS,

the true ESSENCE of things such as they are.
They should be felt correctly, not only by covering them with a veil of empty; that’s no use.

It is necessary to see the « BEING » of things, the true qualities of what they are, without making the effort of seeing them « empty »!

Remove the subtleties of words such as « empty » - which leaves you with what is.

Conclusion! The form is just form
and the empty is just empty
they are indivisible
.

To seek the beauty or the philosophical sense of life is simply a way of justifying yourself,
by saying that things are not as bad as you may think.

But things ARE as bad as you think; the form is form,
The empty is empty; things are just the way they are.

You do not have to try to see them in the light of some type of

            mystical or philosophical depth!

Keep your feet on the ground; see the things the way they are.
Things must be seen such as they ARE with their SPECIFIC qualities.

It is a question of seeing the world in a direct way, without wishing a more
higher state of “consciousness”, a sense or a depth.

It is just literally a direct perception of things, in their own order.

Acting as such makes you a RISHI, an honest, authentic and direct person
who never makes the difference between « this » and « that ».

One refers sometimes to Buddha by employing the term Maharishi, the Great Rishi.

He did not try to be veracious, but was simply true in his state of openness.

The confusion appears when putting labels on experiences without knowing if
these labels are appropriate, by classifying things in categories whereas the form is empty.

It doesn’t need categories to express its full nature, to be what it is.

THE FORM IN ITSELF IS EMPTY OF PRECONCEPTION

BUT THE « EMPTY » IS FORM!!!

This means to say that you may be too eager to live this experience.

Do not seek the empty.

Don’t grasp onto anything, and you will live the experience of non-duality.
