WE ARE ALL ETERNAL

When I was a little boy
I remember being scared
Of death
Of eternity
Of feelings I did not understand

Little did I know about life,
And that’s why I was scared
Of death
Of eternity
Of everything I could not understand

I have grown a little now
And I’m no longer scared
Of death
Of eternity
Of what exists, of what just is

Because I have at long last understood
That I remain a beloved child
Of God
Of Divine Providence
Of all that exists within and without

I am divinely pure
I am divinely innocent
I am the eternal present moment
We are all eternal

DEATH AND ILLUSION

He who’s afraid of death
Does not know the Truth yet
To many it’s the end
To a few it’s a friend

But none of them are right
They haven’t seen the Light
Beyond the appearance
Placed there for convenience

Death is an illusion
Just a mere transition
Between incarnated
And disincarnated

It’s only a short ride
To reach the other side
A change from physical
To the plane called astral

And He who does get there
At once is everywhere
That’s not an illusion
Nor a sad conclusion

There is no mortality
Just Divine reality

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Now
I have just one question:
Why does the tradition
Make us blow out candles
To celebrate the birth of life?

Somehow
It just does not seem right
To be putting an end
To energy so bright
To celebrate the birth of life

Anyhow
There is something odd here;
Should not we light them up
And keep the flame burning
To celebrate the joy of life?

Here and now
I wonder if it’s not
Our way to acknowledge
Our mortality… strange way
To celebrate the joy of life!

Take a bow
And rethink: deep inside
There is right within you
Another radiant way
To celebrate eternal life

WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD

I AM A CHILD

Jesus said:
“ Let the little children come to me.”

Since immortality is part of childhood
Since personality does not change
Since character does not change

Let’s abandon the hero we have built inside
Let’s find the child personality that we have lost
Let’s play again like a pure little child.

Since we are beloved children of God
Since we are divinely innocent
Since children at play have so much fun,

I say to Jesus:
“ As a little child I come to thee.”

TRICKS OF THE EGO

A TREACHEROUS "FRIEND"

The ego is a treacherous “friend”
Clever, strong and deceitful

Playing “trick or treat” with our soul
He is an invisible fiend
And usually wins the battle
Because he knows so many tricks.

He knows that the fear of evil
Only nourishes illusions.
He knows that beliefs and follies
Only want to be flattered…

He knows that spirituality
Reinforces the fake notion
Of an illusory character
That we cannot really assume…

So let’s be true to who we are
So there can be no illusion.
Yes, one must learn not to fake it
Yes, one must learn to be naked.
